Chocolate Brownie Balls

Servings: makes approximately 20 balls, depending on sizeChoocolate brownie balls 1

Time – 10 minutes, 1 hour chilling time

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 pitted medjool dates, chopped
  • ½ cup of ground almonds
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of walnut oil (coconut will also work)
  • 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the almonds and walnuts into your food processor. Blend for 1 minute or until the walnuts have been broken down into very small pieces.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients into the food processor and blend until well combined and sticking together.
  3. Slightly wet your hands and roll the mixture into little balls (wet hands will help prevent the dough sticking to them).
  4. Place the balls into the fridge to set and to store.
  5. Bite and enjoy!

Notes: These yummy brownie balls are a great way to satisfy chocolate cravings. Try making a batch on a Sunday to keep in your fridge for the remaining week, ready for a healthy afternoon pick-me-up.
